The kiss that you blow,
The peck that you plant,
The smile with which you charm,
And thoroughly enchant,
Your angelic language,
And the bewitching talk,
Your adorable crawl,
And the cherubic walk,
The hugs that you hug,
The excitement in your claps,
The softness of your butt,
And the way you wet my lap,
The gentlest of caress, that
Your tender fingers give,
The trouble-free, unpolluted life,
That you always seem to live,
The innocence that gleams,
In the corner of your eyes,
The questions you ask,
That take me by surprise,
The sweetest things you say,
The cutest things you do,
Are just few reasons why,
I completely adore you.
Read a post on someblog how he hates kids and all,was still fuming when i came here, but this post really made me smile:)
ReplyDeleteto all bittu, chinnu, chotu, motu, lovely, bully and billu, millu and other kids of the world, somu uncleeee is so sweet:))) hahahahahaha.
Nothing can beat their innocence and they sure are one reason for beautiful smiles, innocent and trusting:)
Neelima, Kids are so much fun to be with. Not sure how one can shower hatred on them. Maybe it was one naughty kid. But, arent they cute when they play pranks too ?
ReplyDeleteSomu Uncleee ???? Hmph !!!! Am glad that it brought a smile on your face :o)
And do you realize something ? We are afterall kids too, at heart !
Smyta, Thanks a lot. Now thats seriyaana poti... Look at how one poem can lead to another one. That was quick.
ReplyDeleteBtw, I was writing poems before I started blogging. And after I started blogging, I find no time for poems :o((
I feel its a wonderful way to express oneself... Also provides means to vent my frustrations... I luuuuv writing poems :o)
Aiyoo Smyta, Thappa Purinjukiteenga... POTI stands for Poetic Overflow Triggering Inspiration... Sorry, I should have elaborated.
ReplyDeleteAm more inspired now, that's what I meant. Btw, just amazing how two people can come out with expressions so differently on the same subject. True poems are meant for relishing and rejoicing... and there is no poti (the one that you thought it was) ... lol...
Sorry yellaam yedhukku... Take it back ! :o)
Kids? Fun? Aaww, u must be kidding again... all i wanna do is run away from them!
ReplyDeleteKids are really so sweet.
ReplyDeleteTheir tender hands, their innocence, their smile, the sparkle in their eyes...
Its just so wonderful.....
The questions they ask, the pranks they play, the dreams they have,...... oh everything and everything. They are simply superb...
And ofcourse all of us do have a kid hidden in us. That is what brings humour in our lives. If this wasnt there there would be no fun in life...
Hi somu,
ReplyDeletekids are really cute..
they can make u forget ur tension at times..and at times create tension too :D
kids shud remain kids!;)
J... Am sure you would have been a terror as a kid... Only a kid prankster can be so scared of kids... lol !!! Run away from them ? aww aren't they such lovable ones... Why wud u wanna do that ?
ReplyDeleteAarthy... Rightfully said... Sometimes the questions they ask... we would be completely bowled over.
Did you know that the Polaroid camera was invented because of a 3 yr old ? She kept pestering her dad to show her the pictures that he had just taken and that inspired him to invent it... Hmmm they can be smart too at times :o)
Prabha, true. I remember your episode on WWF and the weekend you had to spend with a kid :p
ReplyDeleteKids should remain kids... But you and I would have not existed. Maybe we should grow up being a child at heart :o)
u'd be like me if u had a 6-yr old girl who treats me like her younger sis. Hmmph!
ReplyDeleteAww I didn't realise you were speaking from experience... Yet, I still stand for my words... Kids are fun...
ReplyDeleteSo, you get to recite nursery rhymes, play the see saw or the slide, watch cartoon network ???? OMG, ain;t that fun ?
thats a nice poem somu...
ReplyDeleteand kids are reallly so adorable, they make u smile even in your worst times.
Thanks Ashish. And yeah they can make u so much happy when they are around :o)
ReplyDeleteHey Ganga, Thanks a lot for that lil word on my poem :o)
ReplyDeleteI did notice the parental part in your post. But I was just trying to convey the message that I can never get myself to hate a kid because of all that. More than disgust, I would feel anger. But quite naturally, kids are kids and they are known to be nasty and naughty. and yeah thanks for neelima, I came in through her site. And U wud keep seeing me for a while :o)
Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to read and comment.
